Gloria is a distinguished therapist, professional coach, trainer and consultant renowned for her expertise in facilitating transformative growth within both corporate and educational settings. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Gloria has garnered acclaim for her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to client success.
Gloria’s professional journey is marked by a steadfast commitment to inspiring growth and resilience in her clients. A committed advocate for equity and inclusion in mental health, Gloria is a proud member of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA) and currently serves as the President-Elect for the Multicultural Counseling and Development (PAMCD) division of the PCA. In her leadership role, she champions initiatives that address the unique mental health needs of multicultural communities and promotes culturally competent practices among counseling professionals.
Gloria's educational background is as impressive as her professional accomplishments. Gloria holds dual master's degrees, with a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, underpinned by the ongoing pursuit of professional development, reflected in her accreditations as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Board-Certified Coach (BCC). Gloria maintains unwavering dedication to advancing her proficiency and efficacy.

Vanay Frederick-Ellis, Ph.D., LPC
Director of Clinical Services
Dr. Vanay is an experienced therapist, coach and trainer.
She comes with a wealth of experience in counseling children, adolescents, and young adults and assisting them with navigating life challenges that include, but are not limited to, identity development, interpersonal concerns, and academic stress.
She has a passion for creating and delivering both in-person and virtual training that can be tailored for diverse populations. She has an extensive knowledge of trauma and trauma-informed approaches which allows her to work with and support individuals from different backgrounds. She has been effective in delivering services that promote healing, resilience, and both personal and professional growth.
Dr. Vanay has advanced skills in training development, trauma-informed practice, cultural competency, facilitation, needs assessments, collaboration as well as evaluation and feedback. She has developed training for communication, trauma, stress management, and burnout. She has also facilitated interactions that assisted with strengthening bonds, improving communication, and resolving conflict constructively.
She has obtained her PhD in Psychology from Walden University. She completed her dissertation on trauma focusing on juvenile delinquency and trauma across the lifespan.
Liz Chan, MSW
Group Facilitator/Trainer
Liz is a mental health clinician with a passion for helping people navigate some of life's biggest challenges.
Over the years, Liz has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, supported individuals reentering the community after involvement with the criminal justice system, and worked closely with families through the child welfare system and family-based counseling.
Liz approaches her work through a systems theory lens, always keeping in mind how people's environments, relationships, and communities impact their well-being. She has been fortunate to work with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, and she strives to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
Whether it's helping someone rebuild after addiction, reconnect with family, or adjust to new life circumstances, Liz is committed to fostering resilience and empowering clients to achieve their goals through empathy and evidence-based practices.
At Tailored Glory, Liz is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their concerns and develop the skills needed for personal growth and healing.
J. Rene Walker, MBA
Training Consultant
J. René Walker, is an acclaimed and highly educated professional with over 20 years in realty and more than 20 years in the tech industry. Before retiring in 2024, J. René worked as a Managing Broker at Compass Texas.
As a leader, J. René uses her background and experience to empower others to go out, work smart and be successful, but also to pay attention to self-care and emotional wellness, encouraging them to carve out time and attention for the things in life that bring them joy!
J. René has been recognized several times for her tremendous work. She has received many awards to include the prestigious “Businesswoman of the Year” award as chosen by the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. J. René has also earned the Texas REALTORS® Association "Educator of the Year" Award and the "Platinum Top 50" Realtor Award for outstanding achievements in sales, education, industry participation, and civic leadership.
Before her success in the realty industry, J. René enjoyed a successful career as a marketing executive with tech giants IBM, Toshiba America, Dell Computers, and other companies in the tech industry, gaining experience on the global stage, excelling in international sales and marketing, and proved herself an asset in contract negotiations.
As a professional who truly values education, she earned an MBA in Marketing, a BFA in Design, and a BS in Education.
